Is it good to use cement blocks for sand production?

Currently, infrastructure construction, transportation, bridges, and other fields are developing rapidly, resulting in a large number of cement blocks during the construction process. These blocks are either scrapped due to exceeding the valid period or have already undergone hydration. However, they are not useless and can be considered as reusable resources, helping to reduce environmental pollution. But is it good to use cement blocks for sand production?

Cement blocks are mainly composed of cement as the cementing material, with sand and stones as aggregates. They have good compressive strength and higher porosity, as well as stronger water absorption. Through the use of a cement block sand making machine, they can be processed into 0-5mm sand (coarse/medium/fine sand). According to the provisions in the "Sand and Stone for Concrete" and "Sand and Stone for Construction" standards, the content of needle-like particles should be ≤8-25%, mud content should be 0.5-2.0%, mud block content should be ≤0.2-0.7%, and the crushed stone crushing value index should be ≤10-30%, as well as particle gradation, crushed stone strength, firmness, water absorption, etc., all should meet the relevant standards.

Can cement blocks be processed into sand and used? Yes, they can be used as a substitute for natural aggregates in concrete of corresponding strength grades or as a base layer for building foundations or roads, making them quite commonly used. They can also be used in the production of concrete blocks, permeable bricks, paving bricks, and other building materials.

Innovatively upgraded based on the impact sand making machine, it is equipped with vehicle-mounted installation and steering traction axle, making it convenient for road transportation and easy access to the construction site. The on-site setup is quick and convenient with the vehicle-mounted electronic control system. All the lines have been pre-adjusted before leaving the factory, and upon arrival at the site, they only need to be connected to an external power supply to start production. Additionally, adopting a modular assembly form, including feeding machine, sand making machine, vibrating screen, conveyor belt, and other equipment, improves integration and simplifies the workflow.
